Published consumer study on willingness to pay for electrical stunning
Published a stakeholder report on electrical stunning practices in Mediterranean aquaculture
Completed consulting projects for fish producers on stunning methods
Conducted workshops for fish producer groups on available stunning methods and implementation considerations
Conducted research on welfare assessment methodologies in commercial aquaculture settings
Developing Operational Welfare Indicator (OWI) frameworks for multiple species (initial focus on rainbow trout, gilthead sea bream, and European sea bass)

Research and Partnerships

With professional and academic backgrounds in law and science, Naomi leads research, partnerships, and work supporting stakeholders in meeting and developing welfare standards.

Martin Wicke

Implementation and Operations

With degrees in engineering and economics and experience in software and consulting, Martin manages operations and provides on-site technical support for implementation projects.

Dr Marco Cerqueira

Fish Welfare Science

With a PhD in Marine, Earth and Environmental Sciences and over a decade of expertise in fish biology and welfare, Dr Cerqueira provides the scientific foundation for our recommendations.
